It’s Sunday and we’re at then end of November. I want to squeeze in this months swoon worth style before the November is over. If you missed last months style, you can read all about colonials here<\/a>. Let’s talk about Tudors today! The Tudor is my mother’s favorite style. I think of her each time I see one. I’ll be honest they hit right at number 2 or 3 on my favorite style list as well. They might just be the most charming of architectures. I love driving through the Atlanta suburbs where 1920’s Tudor homes line the streets. Each one is a little different but all are absolutely stunning. There are so many things about them to admire. Those steep pitched roof lines, rounded door ways and picture windows just make for a beautiful home!<\/p>\n

Tudors can be small and cozy or more grand with plenty of detailed trim and moldings.<\/p>\n

Paneled walls are very typical in the Tudor style. I love the touch of sophistication it adds to a space.<\/p>\n

This particular kitchen made me stop in my tracks. It’s extremely cozy without ditching functionality. The back splash tile stretching to the ceiling adds so much charm.<\/p>\n

Many Tudor homes will have several built-in storage options. I love this beautiful built-in hutch in this dining room. It keeps the traditional feel while working with more modern touches.<\/p>\n

I truly have window envy when it comes to this room! I could just see myself enjoying a cup of coffee in this beautiful little nook. Windows like these are often found in Tudor homes and it’s one my absolute favorite details about them.<\/p>\n
