Can you believe that we’re almost half way through November already? If the end of your year is anything like mine, the next two months are busy with shopping, decorating and getting your home ready for holiday guests! This year I’m really trying to keep things simple on the holiday front. I really want to focus my attention on family and friends. One of my favorite ways to get in some quality time with my little one is by setting his table and hosting a small Christmas party for him and a couple of close friends. We spend the time making cookies and sweet memories! I’m going to share my simple kids tablescape and below lifestyle expert, Brandi Milloy is going to give you some inspiration for your dining table for this Christmas season.<\/p>\n

I want to share this easy woodlands table setting with you all today. I picked up almost everything for Charlie’s table on my last trip to my favorite\u00a0Cost Plus World Market<\/a> in Kennesaw. You can find your local store using the store locator<\/a>. I found the most adorable Christmas decor<\/a> while I was there like this set of wool trees, felt deer and LED trees. Each of these things really inspired the sweet woodlands theme this year.<\/p>\n

With just a couple wool trees, a bag of faux snow and a couple felt deer the centerpiece is complete. Each item is soft and moms you don’t have to worry about anything breaking, such a relief!<\/p>\n

I’m just in love with their line of enamel plates and mugs for the kiddos. They have a large\u00a0Christmas dinnerware<\/a>\u00a0selection this year, so there’s something for everyone!<\/p>\n

I attached a mini cookie cutter with ribbon to each cup for the kids to use while making their sugar cookies.<\/p>\n

This was my first time using Cost Plus World Market’s<\/a> cookie mix. The double chocolate chip cookie mix is free from food coloring, artificial sweeteners and preservatives and boy are they delicious! I’m also in love with their adorable cookie stamps. We had a little fun with them when making sugar cookies. The galvanized stand and cookie stamps are just a couple of the cute holiday baking items<\/a> that I found while shopping.<\/p>\n

It doesn’t take much to create a little magic for the little ones. I like to choose items I can reuse throughout the year, ones that serve more than one purpose. It’s easier and more affordable that way. We’re eager for the holiday season and all the get-togethers that come with it. I suspect we’ll all have full hearts and bellies after time with buddies and a few delicious cookies!<\/p>\n
