It has been a full week this week on the blog. I shared my spring home tour this week and you can see that here<\/a> <\/span>as well as our latest coffee table build<\/a><\/span>. I hope you’re not sick of me just yet! I’m thrilled to be sharing my spring tablescape with you all today. A few of my favorite blogging friends are also sharing their spring tables and you can check them out when you leave here!<\/p>\n

Creating a table setting can be a big joy but for some it may also be a little overwhelming. I hope you leave my blog today feeling inspired and ready to entertain. I’m all about simple these days. With life so busy I want to make sure I leave plenty of time for the most important people in my life. A table setting doesn’t have to take up a lot of time to create or require a large budget.<\/p>\n

I used items I already had for this table setting with the exception of the lovely, fresh cut hydrangeas. No spring table is complete without some beautiful blooms!<\/p>\n

I love having brunch in our dining room. We share most of our meals as a family in the breakfast nook but sometimes it’s nice to switch it up and enjoy our sunny and bright dining room for a bit even if it is only three of us. Add some natural moss and an egg to the tea cup and you have a fun and simple look for Easter.<\/p>\n

I used my mom’s blue and white china for part of the place setting. My grandmother gave this china to my mom for her wedding and it’s always been one of my favorite things. I love items that are be passed down from generation to generation and still look great in your home. That’s when you know you have a classic!<\/p>\n

White and pale blue hydrangeas in an ironstone bowl add a touch of spring to the table and make the room feel welcoming.<\/p>\n

Never take photos when you’re hungry friends! I repeat don’t photograph food when you’re hungry. It’s torture! My mouth was watering and my stomach was growling the whole time I was shooting these yummy cinnamon rolls. You better believe Charlie and I dove right in when I was done. Cinnamon rolls happen to be a favorite in our home, especially when they’re homemade!<\/p>\n

I hope you all have a wonderful spring season and Easter Sunday! If you’re entertaining remember not to worry too much about the perfect table and focus more on those gathered around it. They’re what make it so special. If you’re like me and just enjoy the decorating aspect I hope I have inspired you to create and try something new this Easter.
