Wow, let me just say how much I’ve missed this old blog of mine. It’s been over a week since my post on our updated kitchen<\/a><\/span> and although it may not seem like much time has gone by I have been wanting to share so much with you all. I struggle with balance when it comes to home renovations and writing. I feel as though I’m working on project after project and never getting around to typing or I’m pumping out the blog post like there’s no tomorrow. The struggle is real folks. One of the projects I’ve been working on is a hutch that I’ve built for our dining room. I’m so exciting to show you all the new piece. Make sure to check out the blog the first week in November for the building plans! I’ve also been crazy at work on my Christmas decor plans. I know it seems early but when the first Christmas tour blog hop is the last week in November there’s no time to mess around. I have to admit, I don’t mind a little Christmas in my October. I know most of you are probably yelling at your screens right now. I’ll admit it I’m a bit of a Christmas fanatic but that’s a different post for a different day. I’m just pleased to say that none of that decor has found a place out in our house just yet.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

So what do I have for you today? Well since we’re still very much in the fall season I wanted to share the easiest, full fall wreath I’ve made yet. It took me only a matter of minutes to make and it’s making a big statement on our door!<\/span><\/p>\n

Here’s what you need-<\/span><\/p>\n

4 Packages of Oak Leaves <\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

16″ Metal Wreath Frame<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

Floral Tape<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Start by grouping your leaves in groups of eight, securing with floral tape. I tried to vary the colors and shapes in each bundle.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\"The<\/a><\/p>\n

Attach it to the wreath frame using floral tape.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"The<\/a><\/p>\n

Work your way around the wreath laying each bundle slightly on top of the bundle of leaves above it.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"The<\/a><\/p>\n

Once you’ve added all of your leaves or as many as you want, you’re done and ready to hang it! I chose not to add any kind of bow to mine. You certainly can though. I just like the look of it all by itself.<\/span><\/p>\n

If your wreath is going to be exposed to the elements make sure to spray it with a water proofing floral spray. <\/span><\/p>\n
