I must tell you, I love macarons. Not just because they’re delicious, but also because they’re just as equally adorable! They come in so many flavors and colors. They’re more like a piece or art than a cookie. Unfortunately you can’t find them just anywhere. I have to drive a ways to find a bakery that makes them.<\/p>\n

I’ve wanted to make them for as long as I can remember, but I was always a little timid. I had read in several places that they are one of the most finicky desserts\u00a0to make. I just recently got the courage to give them a try and I’m really glad I did! Aside from the fact they’re the most expensive cookie I’ve ever made, they were also one of the most fun!<\/p>\n

With Mother’s day right around the corner, these make the perfect little gift! If you follow the recipe exactly, they’ll be a success.<\/p>\n

These are such a perfect treat. I love that the raspberry filling is just tart enough to balance the sweetness of the cookies. I’m dying to try some new flavors! Do you have a favorite macaron? Good luck making your own and I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!<\/p>\n
