Hi friends! I don’t need the pollen count to know that it’s spring in Georgia. The trees are getting their leaves once again and everything seems to be in bloom. It’s such a pretty time of the year! I’ve said it before, but I think I love my home a little more in the spring. I love all of the soft colors, fresh flowers and the airy feel of our home. Today, I’ve joined a few blogging friends to share some simple ways to decorate for spring with you. If you’re wanting to bring the season indoors, it really doesn’t require anything fancy. Here are a few simply ideas that I use year after year to incorporate spring into our home.<\/p>\r\n

Create a floral arrangement with real & faux blooms. <\/h3>\r\n

Homemade floral arrangements are a must in my home most of the year, but especially in the spring. I’ve always been a strictly real flower kinda gal until recently. I’ve been loving the mix of real and faux flowers together in arrangements. Whether you pick up some fresh flower at the grocery store, cut a few stems from your yard, or assemble an arrangement of real and faux, floral arrangements are always the perfect compliment to spring. <\/p>\r\n

I’m a true believer that fabrics have the potential to contribute so much to a space. They have the ability to set the mood for a room and reflect the current seasons. I love swapping my linens out. My spring and summer bedding and pillow covers are among some of my favorites. After becoming frustrated with the limited fabric options of pillows in stores, I taught myself how to sew and have had a whole world of fabric options opened up to me. If you love decorating and do not know how to sew, I really recommend learning. I personally learned by watching YouTube and reading sewing blogs. It’s truly a game changer! <\/p>\r\n
