Can you believe it’s almost that time of year again? I know some of you are not ready to throw the tree up just yet, but I think it’s a great time to purchase a tree! Shopping for Christmas trees just might be one of my favorite things to do. There are so many styles and sizes to choose from and you don’t have to break the bank for the perfect one. <\/p>\n
For years we stuck strictly to real trees. When I started the blog I needed to start decorating much sooner. Using a real tree became more difficult to do, so we went on the hunt for the most realistic trees within our budget. Today, I’ve put some of my favorites together for you. <\/p>\n

Although artificial trees lack that wonderful smell, they have become incredibly realistic looking over the past few years. Below you’ll find a combination of full and sparse trees. I personally love both, however I’ve been on a sparse tree kick lately. I love their old-fashioned and humble appearance. Some are pre-lit and some are not. Again, I like both. I have found that when I install the lights myself, I add many more lights than pre-lit trees, so the tree is much brighter. <\/p>\n

Charlie’s sparse tree<\/strong><\/a> is one of my favorite trees! It’s number 3 below. There is a pre-lit tree in a similar style (number 5<\/strong><\/a>) for those who prefer a pre-lit tree.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n

I’ll be honest. I tend fall in the green tree camp. Maybe it’s because we don’t get much snow in Georgia, so a traditional green tree just seems more natural to me, but I do love a good flocked tree. A couple of years ago I ordered my first 7′ flocked tree (sadly, it’s no longer available, but number 4<\/strong><\/a> is very similar.) and I love it! Last year we set it up in our master bedroom. We can’t forget about trees for table tops and tight spaces! I’ve always loved decorating mini trees. Tiny ornaments are the sweetest and can be easily made at home. The small tree in the photo above is tree number 5 below. I took it out of the burlap bag and placed it into a vintage ice bucket to fit our style better. You can really dress up a mini tree by putting it in a fun vessel!<\/p>\n

I’ll be honest. I tend fall in the green tree camp. Maybe it’s because we don’t get much snow in Georgia, so a traditional green tree just seems more natural to me, but I do love a good flocked tree. A couple of years ago I ordered my first 7′ flocked tree (sadly, it’s no longer available, but number 4<\/strong><\/a> is very similar.) and I love it! Last year we set it up in our master bedroom. We can’t forget about trees for table tops and tight spaces! I’ve always loved decorating mini trees. Tiny ornaments are the sweetest and can be easily made at home. The small tree in the photo above is tree number 5 below. I took it out of the burlap bag and placed it into a vintage ice bucket to fit our style better. You can really dress up a mini tree by putting it in a fun vessel!<\/p>\n

I’ll be honest. I tend fall in the green tree camp. Maybe it’s because we don’t get much snow in Georgia, so a traditional green tree just seems more natural to me, but I do love a good flocked tree. A couple of years ago I ordered my first 7′ flocked tree (sadly, it’s no longer available, but number 4<\/strong><\/a> is very similar.) and I love it! Last year we set it up in our master bedroom. There’s just something so cozy about it. You can watch and read just how I decorated this tree here<\/strong><\/a>. <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n We can’t forget about trees for table tops and tight spaces! I’ve always loved decorating mini trees. Tiny ornaments are the sweetest and can be easily made at home. The small tree in the photo above is tree number 5 below. I took it out of the burlap bag and placed it into a vintage ice bucket to fit our style better. You can really dress up a mini tree by putting it in a fun vessel!<\/p>\n Below are 2 slim tree options and 3 mini trees, all under 4.5′. <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Whether your family is used to a real tree and have been considering an artificial, or if you’ve been on team faux for years, I hope you find this list helpful in your search. I wish time would have allowed me to share more options with you, but this is a great place to start.
