I don\u2019t know about you, but I\u2019m certainly looking forward to it! There\u2019s just something about that cool, crisp air that gets you inspired. In the hopes of inspiring you for the upcoming fall season, I\u2019ve joined several friends to share our DIY fall wreaths with you. It\u2019s just a small way to bring the outdoors in. After all, the most beautiful part of fall is the outdoor scenery. In the past I\u2019ve made pinecone, leaf and <a href=\"https:\/\/sincerelymariedesigns.com\/a-fall-wheat-horseshoe-wreath-tutorial\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">wheat wreaths<\/a>. This year I thought I\u2019d give a corn husk wreath a try. This wreath is an ode to the iconic corn maze. It\u2019s easy to assemble and requires just a couple of basic items.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Corn husk &#8211; I found mine <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/nuts.com\/cookingbaking\/mexican\/hoja-de-tamal\/24.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">HERE<\/a><\/strong>. Next, soak the husks in cool water. They only need to soak for a minute or until flexible. Remove from the water and place on a towel. Pat each one dry and immediately start working with them. They can be soaked a second time if they become too brittle to work with.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Fold your husk in half, meeting both ends together. Pin the folded husk to the wreath form. I love the color combination of the pale yellow husks with the rich brown satin. I wanted the ribbon around the wreath not to look too tight or pulled, so I loosely secured a piece that wraps around the front and is pinned in the back.
