I can’t believe that we’re already in the month of October but boy am I glad we are! Halloween will be here soon and while I normally don’t decorate for Halloween per se I just couldn’t resist these little mice on the stairs. If you’re like  me and prefer fall decor over Halloween these are a fun way to incorporate both! <\/p>\n

Today I’m thrilled to be sharing these simple paper Halloween mice in this hop with several blogging friends. It’s hosted by my sweet friend Krista from The Happy Housie<\/a> and we’ve got plenty of festive ideas for ya. <\/p>\n

What I love about these little mice is that they’re simple, neutral in color and don’t add any clutter to our home. I’ve collected old Martha Stewart magazines and books for a number of years and for as long as I can remember I’ve had a little snap shot of beautiful old staircase with little black mice silhouettes. I thought it was such a perfect idea for  easy, no fuss Halloween decor and the best part, it pairs with our fall decor perfectly!  <\/p>\n

Here’s the mice template<\/a><\/strong>. You simply print it, cut out the mice and trace them onto black card stock. Once you have the card stock mice cut out use double sided tape to stick to your stair risers. I did two to three mice per step. Honestly, I cut them out until I just got too tired, ha! This is good project to recruit kids for.<\/p>\n

Charlie has absolutely loved these little mice and they’re such a cute touch for the season. I think we’ll have to save them to use next year too! <\/p>\n
