I’ve always loved the natural colors of fall. This nesting pumpkin tablescape for fall incorporates those rustic fall colors perfectly. Simply grapevine, muted pumpkins and warm candle glow make for a warm and inviting tablescape!\u00a0<\/em><\/h3>\n

The fall season is one of my favorite times to entertain. I love the warm colors and all the yummy foods that the season has to offer. I had quite a lot of fun creating an inviting tablescape for today’s hop hosted by my sweet friend, Alicia from Nick + Alicia<\/a><\/strong>. I’m also thrilled to be joining some talented bloggers today to bring you inspiration for setting your fall tables this season! <\/p>\n

I wanted a setting that included natural elements. If you’ve been following along for any length of time you know my love of natural elements in decorating. When given the choice of real vs. faux I always go for the real thing. Lucky for us pumpkins became available last week and I couldn’t help but to buy several in an array of muted colors.<\/p>\n

The pumpkins, candles and runner would have been nice but I think the grapevine really adds great texture and warmth to the table. I’m not a huge fan of rustic necessarily but I think it works well here.<\/p>\n

Unlike purchasing a large grapevine wreath like I did for our blooming nest spring tablescape<\/a><\/strong>, I used grapevine garland. It comes in a roll 15′ and I simple unrolled it and used wire cutters to cut the wire that was bounding the garland together. This gives you more play to spread the grapevine apart and to add height around your pumpkin. I circled each pumpkin with the grapevine 2-3 times to create a “nesting” look. It gives pumpkins a pretty and whimsical look. Using a vine that has berries would also look great! I might have to add some in eventually this fall.<\/p>\n

On Saturday I shared one of my all time favorite soup recipes, butternut squash soup! You can great that recipe here<\/a><\/strong>. It’s the perfect addition to any fall table and one of the most quintessential autumn recipes in my opinion. It’s that good friends!<\/p>\n

I love how different every pumpkin is in shape, color and texture. You really can’t beat nature!<\/p>\n

Just setting this table and gathering around for soup as a family was such a nice way to welcome in the new fall season. I’m already dreaming up creative centerpieces and new dinner ideas. If you haven’t been feeling all of the fall feels yet I hope our table is a source of inspiration for you. The purpose of a pretty tablescape is to invite others to sit down, share conversation and to break bread together. Here’s to a wonderful fall season full of good friends and good food!<\/p>\n
