We’re so close to spring and each day my! I wish our weather would get the picture but with every fresh flower arrangement and whimsical tablescape it’s feeling more and more like spring. I’m so thrilled to bring you some tablescape inspiration along side some very talented friends. Thanks to Bre from Rooms for Rent blog<\/strong><\/a> for hosting this hop!\u00a0Our breakfast nook is one of my favorite rooms in our home. In the past I’ve set our dining room table and it’s nice but this is the space that we truly spend a lot of our time. It’s where I sip coffee and collect my thoughts each morning before my little one comes running downstairs. It’s my peaceful corner I guess you could say. I thought it would be fun to create a smaller, more intimate setting here. Here’s my classic garden inspired spring table.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Many of you know how much I love Martha. Years ago I saved a clipping from Martha Stewart Living magazine that had the prettiest flower arrangement in a basket that resembled a nest. I decided to get creative and put my own spin on it and use it as the centerpiece. You can find my tutorial for that here<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The tulips are the star of show here. I kept the table light and airy with tons of colorful tulips and daffodils. Each place setting isn’t too fussy but instead simple and classic.<\/p>\n

I recently found the most adorable ceramic bunnies<\/strong><\/a> at the craft store. I thought they were so sweet and quite perfect as the center of each plate. Faux moss is placed under the bunnies. You can always use a paper doily underneath for easy removal.<\/p>\n

I mixed pale pink and pink and white gingham napkins for a soft feel and brass silverware for a little glam.<\/p>\n

It’s such a sunny room with the most beautiful natural lighting in the afternoon and evenings. It’s just another reason why I love this room so much!<\/p>\n

The blooming nest fills the table center perfectly and has such a happy feel. It’s such a versatile centerpiece. You could use any flower you’d like really. I know some dislike it but I love how tulips flop over. I think it just gives them character. Roses, stem flowers and eucalyptus would also be a beautiful mix.<\/p>\n

Spring tables can be as laid back or as formal as you chose. It’s such a fun season to set the table and enjoy loved ones. This would also make for setting outside in your garden.
