Fall is such a wonderful season and I’m bringing a touch of fall into our breakfast nook with this fall candle centerpiece 3 ways.\u00a0<\/em><\/h2>\n

Can you believe that it’s the first day of September? I’m starting to see some yellow in the trees and the nights are turning a little chilly. My fall loving heart is beyond thrilled. I couldn’t think of a better way to start the wonderful month of September than with the Cozy Living home series started by the friend Jennifer from Town and Country Living<\/a>. Each month we share something that gives our home a cozy and welcoming feel and leaves the loved ones in it loved and nurtured. With fall just a grasp away I wanted to share an easy and cozy candle centerpiece that I recently created and 3 different ways to get the look.<\/p>\n

One of my favorite cozy spots in our home is our breakfast nook. It’s where I sit each morning with my cup of coffee and thoughts. It has two large windows that look our onto our wooden side yard and where the morning light just lightly streams in. Last year I added two upholstered wing back chairs and it might be one of the best things I’ve done in our home. It makes time in the breakfast nook so much cozier. My family spends a lot of time at this table and I love the soft glow of candles no matter the time of day. I thought a sweet let rustic style candle holder would be just perfect for a fall centerpiece. Here’s what I came up with.<\/p>\n

Why looking for the perfect holder, I found several containers around my house and decided I’d share each one with you in hopes that it’ll spark some inspiration for your home this fall!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

All you need is:<\/p>\n

A container of choice, planter, baking pan, pail, etc.<\/p>\n

A little moss<\/p>\n

Candles of preferred size<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Start by placing the chosen candles in your container. I wanted my candles to stand much taller than my post so that they wouldn’t get lost on the table. The size of the candles you use is just personal preference. There’s no hard rules here. I found that three larger pillar candles fit perfectly in the base of my pot without being too crowded.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Make sure the candles sit study on the bottom of the container and pill in around them with moss.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

It’s as simple as that! For an added touch of interest I placed my container onto a silver platter. I love the textures and colors of this centerpiece. It’s such a subtle way to take your home into fall and something that can be carried right into Christmas.<\/p>\n

I’ve just loved the soft glow it adds to the room. The moss gives it a soft touch and brings the outdoors in.<\/p>\n

I also wanted to show you that instead of grouping candles together you can use just one in a smaller container, like this copper baking pan. I’ve collected vintage copper for years now and I love finding new uses for them.<\/p>\n

I also used this tiny pail with a smaller candle pillar. How cute would these look in groups of threes? There’s so many possibilities with these candle centerpieces. You really can make them your own.<\/p>\n

I hope you have a lovely end to your summer and beginning to your fall. It’s really such a wonder time of the year.
