You know, it hasn’t been hard keeping it clean. I did have a little discolor here or there but nothing crazy. If I was choosing again, I might go with a shade darker, especially with three boys! lol

Wow, thank you so much for your response and encouragement! That sounds like exactly what we should do. Have you found it difficult to keep the grout clean? I’m worried about off-white grout in a kitchen, I have three boys ages 3, 2, 2 ????????

Thank you so much, Tiffany! It would stunning in a kitchen. I’ve even thought about putting it in our foyer eventually. We just love it! We did go with the red/rustico. The grout is more of an off-white color. I was a little scared to do pure white because of staining. We did smooth the grout over the bricks but some didn’t get quite as clean as others so it has kinda a worn or whitewashed look. I don’t think you could do wrong either way. I do like the cleaned look a little better because the tile pops more but I think it’s all in where you’re putting it and the colors you’re going for. I hope that helps. šŸ™‚

We are planning on using this porcelain tile in a herringbone pattern in our kitchen. It looks so stunning here…I would love if it came out this wonderfully! I have some questions- sorry! Did you use the red/rustico color? Is that a white grout or more of an antique grout? And did you smooth some grout/mortar over the bricks to give a whitewashed look?

Thank you so much Carole! Having the laundry upstairs vs. the basement is a game changer. Our laundry room was in our basement at our last home and that was one thing I really wanted when we were house hunting. You’re going to love it! The stackables are such a great way to use a space efficiently. It sounds like your space is going to lovely! Have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by. šŸ™‚

We are just starting a small addition to our house and one of the things it will include is a powder room/laundry area. Our laundry room is currently in the basement and I’m tired of running up and down the stairs to put in a new load or move things from the washer to the dryer. We purchased a Maytag front load stackable washer and dryer and these will be installed at the end of the powder room behind bifold louvered doors. When I’m not doing laundry the doors will be closed and it will just look like a closet. There will be shelves in the laundry closet beside the washer and dryer. Combining these into one room was our best use of the space that we had available. Your room is beautiful. I’m glad that I got to see it.
