Thanks Shelley! I found that years ago in a little thrift store. Sadly, there wasn’t any train cars with it, but I always keep my eye out when shopping at antique and thrift stores. I wish there was some kind of marking on it so I knew the maker.

That means the world to me, Liane! Thank you so much! Yes, we did that very thing and she had a blast tearing into them. My husband wrapped three things for her and she had them open in no time. We thought it solved it, but she kept going back to the tree gifts. She’s been very persistent. Little ones keep you on your toes! I love that your grandchildren still love tearing the paper. My 12 year old son is the same way, and if I’m honest, I am too! Having paper and ribbons on the floor Christmas morning just adds to the magic of it all. Have the most wonderful Christmas!

I love this, Diane! How magical it must have been waking up Christmas morning. My kids will enjoy that and same feeling this year thanks to Audrey, ha! I’m excited to the change. I’m so glad to hear that, Beth! I can struggle with that too. I love Christmas and all of its pretty decor. I’ve definitely done more in the past, but I’m finding that less is more. I’ve stressed a whole lot less this year with less decor. There’s less to clean around and less to worry about breaking. It’s been wonderful! Have a very Merry Christmas!
