Yummy. I soaked some freeze dried blueberries in the warm water and used fresh milled spelt. My husband went out of his way to tell me they were better than store-bought and could he have a second one. My four year old said “no thank you” but she says that about everything, if she ever does try them she will love them as we do.

These are wonderful! I especially like that you use sucanat and freshly milled flour. Mine didn’t look as good as yours, but the flavor was great. I used my Ankarsrum and I think the texture might have been better if I had mixed them by hand instead. Thank you for posting the recipe! I will definitely be making them regularly.

My kids, husband, friends devoured these bars and couldn t believe how moist, chewy, delicious they were for being oh so simple. My kids will eat anything I give them, but my husband is tough to convince when I m trying to substitute a store bough conventional item, like granola bars.

Thank you for sharing! Just pulled a batch out of the oven. Great flavor! Went with peanut butter but will definitely try almond next time. They better hurry up and cool before we pick at them til they’re gone. ?
