My daughter and I are about to start renovating an ugly duckling late 1930s home that has had some weird alterations over the years. New front entrance, kitchen, alterations to the bathroom needed, a laundry, a few half walls demolished and of course a good paint and floor coverings needed. We did am 80s renovation that had leaky bathroom and kitchen making it unlivable and we added a third bedroom. It came up a treat and is now rented.

My daughter and I have bought a home from the late 30s. It is run down and needs renovating so I am researching ideas. This house is gorgeous and I could move in tomorrow but of course I can’t. I love the simplicity and serenity, the peaceful colors and the kitchen Oh, everything really!!! Our is an ugly duckling and may never have been the beautiful swan but we are going to do our best for it. We have to improve the front, put on a porch/verandah and make a lovely entrance. Kitchen and bathroom area also need redoing. The last one we did was unlivable and we survived that reno so I’m confident we can do this one!!

Although would have liked to have seen more pics, everything seen here is very nicely done. Baby’s room is very peaceful and suspect there is a baby boy residing because of the blue wallpaper? And yet maybe not……..
