Have you ever tried adding Glycerin to the bath water before submerging the garland? I’ve been doing it for years and my fresh greens last much longer. I agree if you don’t get the garland bought the first few days of December you won’t be able to find it.

Just ordered some from Amazon Prime. I love fresh greens but New Mexico is so dry, they are a huge challenge. Each year, I add fresh greens to huge faux wreaths to hang at my church, we don’t hang them until two weeks before Christmas, but even then they are might dry by the time we celebrate Epiphany. Hopefully this will help! Your simple elegant decor is lovely.
