I will be 73 on my next birthday. I feel great and this is one of the happiest times of my life. I am madly in love with my husband of six years (I was a widow for 10 years before we met). We ride bicycles together (8-10 miles 2-3 times a week) and have many other interests in common. I moved into his house (a small ranch fixer upper) and we’ve spent the last six years remodeling, redecorating and adding on to our small ranch style home. Every milestone birthday can make you stop and think about your life. I was OK with each one up until 70 and that one kind of freaked me out. It sounded so OLD. But I’m healthy and strong and life is still good. I have been retired now for two years and rather than being bored, I am having the time of my life. Happy birthday and welcome to your 30’s. It is a great place to be.
