I am daydreaming of fall and love the subtle touches. I am becoming not a girl for “super theme-y” decorating, and I love the natural things you chose that are subtle and simple. Over the years I have been letting go of the cheesy elements of seasonal decor. I realized I was taking part in theme-y decorating when I do not even care for it, all to go “festive” when I like the subtle things and more natural things more and also to show it by colors more than “shouting” it with busy items that get cluttered looking so easily in my house. It is July right now and I have subtle things that say summer and have items to donate that I am not attached to. Sometimes I like the newness of the seasonal thing, and find it cute, then after a season or two I find myself tired of it. Things that are more classic I am finding I like better and a more subtle flow between seasons. I love the tasteful look you did!

I love your reading nook and how you decorated it. It says Fall but doesn’t scream it which is what I like right now while it is still warm outside. I love those brass lamps too. Do you think they are still available?
